New laws come into effect in Florida on October 1st. The state minimum wage will also be raised from $ 8.65 to $ 10 an hour. This is designed to reduce the number of infant deaths left in vehicles during the hot weather months. SB 80 – “Child Aid” This draft law changes and creates new sections of the law in connection with the child welfare system.
