NBC removed a video from its website of Jimmy Fallon, host of the Tonight Show, praising New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The video, an interview between Fallon and Cuomo, took place last May and was no longer available on NBC’s website as of Friday, Just The News reported.

“Unfortunately, the video is no longer available,” said a message on the website.

In the interview, held at a time when Cuomo was widely praised by the media for his handling of the coronavirus, Fallon raved about the governor and discussed how some Americans wish they could date him.

“You are very popular with the ladies,” Fallon said to Cuomo. “People who know you’re single and think you look good – some people call themselves cuomosexuals. They are obsessed with you. They want to go out with you. They want to marry you. “

NBC Universal did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.

Since the interview aired, Cuomo has been involved in scandals related to an order mandating nursing homes to admit coronavirus-infected patients and alleged sexual harassment.

The latter scandal, highlighted by a recently released 165-page attorney general’s report accusing him of sexual misconduct, led to his resignation from office, effective August 24.

“New York hard means New York loving, and I love New York and I love you,” Cuomo said at the time of his resignation. “I would never want to be of any kind, and I think the best way I can help now, given the circumstances, is to step aside and let the government rule again, and that’s why I will.”
